This weekend on the 19th of September I performed at a religious event playing in front of a crowd with over 500 people. This concert has been a part of my religion for quite some time now, and this year I was proudly performing at the 10th annual concert. I was playing the piano in the background along with another 23 members to form an Indian Orchestra. In total the performance lasted around 2 hours with approximately 9 songs. I played chords accompanied by string symphonies and piano pieces in the performance it self. Some of the problems that I faced were to make it on time everyday for the practices which started at around 8 o'clock at night and ended at around 12 o'clock at night. Therefore it was difficult for me to process the musical learning as well as finish my school work on time, however I managed to do both by cutting out all the extra time I use wandering around once I get home. Over all it was a great experience and it is always an honor to perform for my religion especially since the purpose was a raise funds for BAPS Charities.
