In the recent CAS sessions that we have had, I have found it very difficult to continue to lead the CAS group due to amount of challenges that have been thrown at my face, however I am determined to make it work and will see to it that it does. We had at the beginning of the year thought of an idea where we would have a dance combined with a color festival. The whole team put a lot of effort into thinking about different plans and how to make it a great success. We spent around 2 whole weeks just discussing the idea only to later on find out that we can not pull this even off due to the administration of IST and the safety factors which I simply feel that they have over stressed. Never the less I am still determined to work continuously on something different and will see that it works. From this event at least I could notice that we should try and do something that we know will not even raise a question from the faculty side of the school so that we can start with the process and save time. Recently we have come up with the idea of Dar es Salaam Restaurant Week. DRS is when all the restaurants get a chance to get prime advertising in the whole of Dar and we as Fund A Child would like to pursue that line in helping so that we can spread awareness as well as make some money to donate from this idea.
